The EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger enables fast charging for compatible portable power stations using energy generated while the vehicle is running. It provides up to 800W of charging power, allowing a 1kWh battery to be topped up in approximately 1.3 hours. This method charges significantly faster than standard in-vehicle auxiliary power outlets.Designed as a three-function solution, the unit operates as a charger, a battery maintainer and a jump starter. It can draw power from the alternator to recharge a portable power station, or it can reverse charge to replenish a vehicle starter battery or an RV house battery. A maintenance mode is available to support battery health using a lower current.The system is compatible with 12V and 24V vehicle and RV batteries and can be used to help extend the runtime of RV house batteries. When connected to supported EcoFlow power stations, it can contribute to expanding overall energy storage capacity.Built with GaN technology for high thermal resistance, the charger includes multiple safety features such as undervoltage protection to help reduce the risk of excessive draw on the starter battery. It is suitable for installation in a range of vehicles including SUVs, pickups and RVs, and is designed for a clean integration without major modifications.
