Description
Serpent’s Tears, the inaugural release from Penderyn’s Llandudno distillery in North Wales, marks a bold new chapter for the Welsh distiller. This peated single malt delivers a distinctive blend of smoky and fruity notes, capturing the essence and character of the region.
Nose: An autumnal day in a glass; dried leaves, orchard fruits and wood smoke are shadowed by creamy notes and toasted bread.
Palate: Sweet peat, soft vanilla cream and sugared pancake with burnt edges. Baking apples with the hint of malt and a touch of peppery spice and clove.
Finish: Warming soft peat that lingers in the mouth with a barley sweetness.
