Bill Samuels, Sr. simply wanted a whisky he would enjoy drinking. Never bitter or sharp, Maker's Mark is crafted with soft red winter wheat instead of the usual rye, creating a one-of-a-kind, full-flavoured bourbon.To ensure consistency, every barrel is rotated by hand, and the bourbon is aged to taste, not time. Each bottle of Maker’s is still hand-dipped in its signature red wax at the distillery in Loretto, KY, just as Bill, Sr. would have wanted.Nose: Sweet oak, vanilla, bright fruit and wheat prevail in the nosePalate: Sweet with balance of oak, vanilla and fruity essencesFinish: Smooth and creamy with a pleasant soft spice and clean finish
