Craigellachie - Speyside Single Malt 19 year old Whisky An incredibly rare expression of Craigellachie that has more biscuity sweet intensity and a bolder pineapple note compared to the 17 year old. This is the bottle that Craigellachie fans seek out. After an initial maturation on a combination of cask types, half of the vatting goes into first fill sherry casks and half goes into first fill burbon casks to give an intense and bold example of 'The Rock of Speyside'.Intense aroma of pineapple chunks in syrup, spicy, rich and complex, fortified with an intriguing sulphury backbone. To the taste this 19 year old Craigellachie delivers a sweet biscuity base, with a hint of smoke.
