Description
Drybase Flex Adhesive is a cement-based, quick-setting adhesive designed for fixing Drybase Flex Membrane to damp, salt-contaminated or uneven wall surfaces. Supplied as a dry powder, it mixes easily with water to form a smooth, trowel-applied paste with excellent workability and adhesion.This high-performance formulation allows for direct application to damp substrates, removing the need for surface drying before installation. Once applied to the wall, Drybase Flex Membrane is embedded into the adhesive with light pressure, creating a reliable bond suitable for receiving plaster finishes within just 30 minutes.Each 10 kg bag of Drybase Flex Adhesive covers approximately 2 m² at a recommended thickness of 1–2 mm. Mixing requires 2.9 litres of clean water per 10 kg. The adhesive remains workable for up to 30 minutes after mixing and must be used within this time. Once applied, the membrane must be bedded into the adhesive within 10 minutes to ensure optimal bonding.Before application, all structural defects must be repaired and the substrate cleaned of loose materials or surface contamination. Once the adhesive has cured, finishes such as gypsum plaster can be applied directly over the membrane.Drybase Flex Adhesive is CE marked, complies with EN 12004:2007 and is produced under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality & environmental standards.
