That is why Bob's Red Mill don’t make compromises or cut corners. Their proprietary flax milling machinery keeps the meal cool, which preserves the freshness of those precious oils. It’s not the fastest way, but it’s the right way, and it is absolutely worth the time and effort.</span><br><br><span>Add flax seed meal to your favourite recipes for bread, pancakes, muffins and cookies: reduce the flour by up to 25 percent and replace it with milled flaxseed. You can also replace oil or shortening in a recipe with ground flaxseed meal: for best results, substitute flax at a 3:1 ratio. Or, use ground flaxseed meal as an egg replacer in baked goods: add 2 tablespoons ground flax to 3 tablespoons water and use the flax gel to replace one egg.</span></p>
