Dengie Alfa-A Molasses Free is a premium, pure alfalfa fibre feed designed to promote condition and provide energy safely for horses and ponies. Free from molasses, preservatives, and straw, it is ideal for animals prone to laminitis, gastric ulcers, or those requiring a low sugar and starch diet. The inclusion of rapeseed oil offers slow-release energy and enhances coat shine, while added mint and fenugreek improve palatability. This feed delivers 11.5 MJ/kg of digestible energy, comparable to a medium energy mix or cube, but with significantly lower starch content. Suitable for horses and ponies in various levels of work, it supports healthy digestion and muscle development.
