The length required depends on your pet. Longer haired pets need a longer bristle length to remove loose hairs from the undercoat.When the groom tool is in use, your vacuum cleaner's suction is concentrated. Enough suction is directed into your animals coat to capture dead skin cells without the groom tool sticking. Dead skin cells are also removed, which prevents the spread of allergens and helps make your pet look healthier.When you remove your thumb from the spring trigger, the slicker bristles are pulled back into the tool. It shouldn’t be used on short haired dogs or dogs with woollen coats such as the Komondor or Puli. It should only be used on adult dogs.
