Description
The LP205R is a small, subtle presentation remote for wireless control over PowerPoint, Prezi and more. The device functions as a simple laser pointer, but also connects directly to your laptop or PC via a unique wireless dongle.
Each remote comes with a USB dongle to plug into the PC or laptop that is running the presentation. The wireless connection is stable up to 15m, even without direct line of sight. This is the advantage of using a radio frequency dongle, not an IR one. You don't have to interrupt your flow to point at the computer and change slide, simply tap the button regardless of where your hands are and the slide will change.
The radio frequency dongle and easy operation ensure you can cut down on tech issues and focus on what really matters: Presenting.
The unit comes with a suitable carry case, with space for spare batteries. The unit is not rechargeable, as battery power ensures you can immediately use the device when needed, no down-time while you wait for charge. Simply replace the battery and carry on going!
The device features controls for starting, ending, hiding and navigating Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. These same hotkeys are often also used for alternative software like Prezi, and so the LP205R can be used with other programs where compatible. Compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8, 7 and Below, Mac OS, Linux and Google Chromebook. The RF dongle ensures direct communication between the remote and the connected USB port. All that is required is a USB port and the auto-install to run. On Linux, you may have to manually prompt the auto-run.
