It is also allegedly a very effective insect repellent if used in a diffuser on warm summer evenings due to its high citronella content._x000D_Our lemongrass essential oil comes from the Cymbopogon flexuosus plant, commonly known as EastIndian lemongrass. Lemongrass is typically grown across much of Asia, and can reach a height of 2 metres._x000D_Lemongrass essential oil is extracted using steam distillation of the fresh leaves and stems. The resultant oil is then carefully packed into tinted glass bottles to maintain its valuable properties._x000D_With the raw materials for our essential oils being sourced from around the globe, weve been mindful to work closely with a Sedexregistered supplier. This means that great effort is made to ensure sustainable production processes are used, and also that ethical trade guidelines are followed.
