Lemongrass essential oil has a fresh, citrusy scent that many find energising and uplifting. Its bright aroma makes it a popular choice for use in diffusers, and it is often enjoyed during warmer months for its refreshing character.The oil is extracted from the Cymbopogon flexuosus plant, also known as East Indian lemongrass, which grows widely across Asia. The tall grass-like plant can reach up to two metres in height and is well known for its high citronella content.Our lemongrass oil is produced through steam distillation of the fresh leaves and stems. Once extracted, the oil is bottled in tinted glass to help preserve its natural properties and aroma during storage.We source our raw ingredients through a Sedex-registered supplier, ensuring a focus on ethical trade and sustainable production methods. This helps us maintain both high quality and responsible sourcing standards in every bottle.
