It may even be purchased as a tender garden plant here in the UK._x000D_What makes Pelargonium graveolens so valuable is revealed by its common name: the rosescented geranium. The essential oil from rosescented geraniums has long been used in fragrance production and it is considered by many to be one of the most important ingredients in the industry._x000D_Besides its use to create delicate floral fragrances, soaps and other cosmetics, it has long been popular for aromatherapy._x000D_Our geranium essential oil originates from Egypt, where it is extracted by steam distillation before bottling and transportation to our warehouse.
