The carotenoid lycopene is another heavily researched nutrient within HealthShield Antioxidant Formula and is often associated with tomatoes, given that we typically get most of our lycopene through tomato consumption.As well as numerous other specialist compounds such as alpha lipoic acid, quercetin and astaxanthin, each serving is rich in riboflavin, vitamin C and vitamin E, which all help to protect the body from oxidative stress. Widely known as vitamin B2, riboflavin also contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. The aforementioned health claims have been authorised by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
