The August DTA600 is a home aerial perfect for standing on TV cabinets, shelving units or desks as well as mounting onto the wall for a permanent fixture.Featuring an extending telescopic aerial and High Gain base unit, the DTA600 provides more gain than any other unpowered / unamplified portable aerial from August at 8dB!Simply connect the long coaxial aerial cable from the base unit to your TV, Set Top Box or USB TV Tuner to scan for over 100 Freeview and Freeview HD channels.The freestanding unit and rotatable aerial make configuring the unit for optimal signal much easier, and when the ideal spot is found the whole unit can be wall-mounted to keep the antenna in place and out the way.Please note: High Gain aerials are still affected by the distance to the transmitter, man-made interference or blockages, service update outages and meteorological interference. Once the interference passes, please perform a channel scan to restore any lost channels. For best results, place the DTA600 high on a wall, with the antenna fully extended towards a window on that wall. When freestanding, rotate the aerial and unit so that the direction matches that of your rooftop aerial for the highest chance at reception.
