- FERROUS BISGLYCINATE is absorbed better by the gut compared to other iron forms, studies have found that iron bisglycinate is 2–4 times better absorbed by the body than widely-used iron sulphate and fumarate, whose bioavailability is around 27-28% compared to approximately 90%. This form of iron does not usually cause gastrointestinal side effects.
- REDUCTION OF TIREDNESS AND FATIGUE - Iron is needed for the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the body's primary source of energy. Without enough iron and subsequent ATP, it can lead to feelings of fatigue and weakness. Iron also plays a role in the metabolism of neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin (mood regulation).
