If possible remove filter lid to allow easy application of agent.Add at a rate as follows:18″ Diameter filters – add 250ml24″ Diameter filters – add 500ml30″ Diameter filters – add 750ml36″ Diameter filters – add 1000mlThen fill filter with water and allow to soak for at least 6 hours or 12 hours overnight for optimal performance. Replace lid & ensure filter is ready to backwash.Backwash & rinse filter for a minimum of 2 minutes prior to returning the filter to service.Cartridge Filters Remove cartridge and other screens from the unit and flush debris from filter body & cartridge screens etc. Soak overnight the cartridge in a 5% solution of the cleaner.
