Ju 88 is a German two-engine aircraft with versatile use. It was not called "German mosquitoe" for nothing. It can be easily compared with the West de Havilland Mosquito which is also available at COBI. Designed as a high-speed bomber, the Ju 88 was perfect for low altitude attacks and flat diving flights. It could also act as a night hunter, torpedo bomber and reconnaissance plane. It was also one of the most popular aircraft of World War II! In the years 1939-1945, nearly 15,000 copies of this machine were produced in many designs. The model of the famous bomber Ju 88 has been carefully developed using 1,160 building blocks in a sensational large scale 1:32. The set contains only permanent prints. Stickers cannot be found here! To better reflect the complicated shape of the cockpit, we have developed new building block shapes! In the cockpit there is a figure of the included pilot and there is a free space. Kit includes moving elements such as propellers, ailerons and closed bomb hatches. Removable bombs and wheels are located under the wings.
