Aerated/Weighted RetroFit Suction Dome

The Aerated/Weighted RetroFit Suction Dome is the ideal solution for pond owners wanting bottom drain benefits without the hassle of a major overhaul. No digging or holes in your pond liner are required—simply place the dome in the lowest part of the pond. It works effectively by pulling debris and solids directly from the bottom into your filter system, similar to a sump drain.

Our Weighted Suction Dome range is easy to clean and service. Each unit features a Base Plate set to the optimal height, ensuring maximum draw across the pond bottom. Even if your pond floor isn’t perfectly flat, you won't experience any flow restriction issues.

For added convenience, all models are supplied with fittings for either gravity or pump-fed systems. The Aerated versions include all the great suction features of the Weighted Dome plus the added benefit of increased oxygenation. The water movement makes it 30% more efficient in debris removal, boosts oxygen levels, and helps eliminate harmful gases.

All versions come with a fitting bag, and the air diffuser includes 3.16 metres of perforated tubing, designed to maximise aeration and produce finer bubbles within 30 to 60 minutes of submersion.
