The August MB290 radio is an all-in-one FM, DAB/DAB+ radio and Bluetooth speaker with 3 methods of recharge. The MB290 is compatible with the UK Government Emergency Kit requirements as stated by .GOV.
3 Recharge ModesSolar Charging on the roof of the radio maintains charge for the radio even when not in use, or between uses. Hand Crank charging with the fold-out level can be used in any situation to provide emergency charge to the device, night or day. USB-C Fast charge port allows speedy recharging when a power bank or powered USB socket is available.
3 Audio ModesDAB radio provides all the easy navigation and increased reception of modern digital radio. FM radio provides a reliable backup for digital interference and can tune manually to any frequency in range for emergency broadcasts. Bluetooth mode allows you to listen to phone, PC, laptop and more through the speaker!
The MB290 comes with a silicone port-protector which slots into the power ports to protect them from rain and water. Please note: The MB290 should be dried before use.
