UniBond Durable Weatherproof Sealant Frame Cartridge White, 384gUniBond Outdoor Frame Cartridge is a one-component, ready-to-use, neutral-curing silicone sealant for the perimeter sealing of exterior window and door frames.Permanently flexible: Our Unibond waterproof sealant Provides a durable flexible perimeter seal for exterior window and door frames, protecting you from the elementsMulti materials: This durable adhesive sealant can be used on various materials such as wood, uPVC, polycarbonate, and metal - suitable for most window and door framesFlexible and waterproof: As well as providing strong and flexible sealing, this window frame sealant is also waterproof, so it can stand up to harsh weather conditionsLong lasting: as long as you follow the instructions for use, this exterior sealant will stand the test of time, giving you peace of mind when doing outdoor sealing jobsHow to Use:SURFACE PREPARATION: All surfaces must be clean and dry, free from any dust and grease or anything which is likely to impair the adhesion of the sealant. Residues of old sealant or other materials as well as mould on the substrate must be removed completely.JOINT DIMENSIONS: The movement capability of the sealant as well as local regulations must be considered. In general, the joint width must be 10mm and & 35mm and the joint width should be twice the depth.SEALANT APPLICATION: The sealant should be applied to ensure that the seal is filled. Smoothing off the seal ensures good contact between the sealant and the bonding surfaces. Directly after application, smooth off with an UniBond Sealant Smoother Tool. Remove any tape immediately, before the surface skin has formed on the sealant. Smooth over any proud sealant edges immediately.CLEANING AND FINISHING: Fresh sealant may be cleaned with a cloth soaked in white spirit or alcohol (e.g., methylated spirit). Cured sealant can be removed by scraping (e. g. using a razor blade) or by using a special silicone remover product.DRYING TIME: The sealant will touch dry in 30 mins and fully dry in approx. 24 hoursBox includes: UniBond Outdoor Frame Sealant Cartridge - White 384g
