Description
This variety is easier for the gardener and the cook! It produces a high quality cylindrical beet with good flavour and texture and few internal rings, and is easy for slicing.Plus, being a monogerm it means less need for thinning as only 1 or 2 seedlings are produced per cm.Sow outdoors thinly, from April to July, where they are to crop, 2.5cm deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-cultivated, fertile soil, which has already been watered.Allow 30cm between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 7-21 days. Thin seedlings to 10cm apart. Water well until plants are established.Regular sowings, made every three weeks, should ensure a continuous supply of young beets.Harvest from June to October.
