Description
Ornate and intricate umbrella-like flowers which are excellent for cutting.Heavily attracted to bees and butterflies. Blooms the year after sowing.Sow indoors: for surest results, in trays of compost.Cover very lightly with fine soil. Water well and place on a warm windowsill at about 20oC(68oF). Seedlings should appear in 14-21 days.Transplant seedlings 5cm(2in) apart to further trays when large enough to handle. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts) before planting out 25cm(10in) apart.Sow outdoors: in a seed bed, cover very lightly with fine soil.Keep moist and weed free. Thin seedlings to 5cm(2in) apart before planting out to flowering positions in spring or autumn, spacing 25cm(10in) apart.
