Japanese Matting is extremely inert and easy to service in your pond filter.
Japanese Matting is available in sheet form and can be cut to the desired sizes to fit your filter chamber by using an Angle Grinder, or better still an ordinary Circular Saw, but take care and wear protective glasses and watch your eyes.
