The ‘solar basking infrared’ heat lamp range from arcadia reptile has been specifically chosen for its potency. Reptiles are exothermic (cold blooded) and rely upon an external source of heat for their energy. This energy then allows them to hunt and feed. Heat is also essential for good digestion and organ function. These lamps will heat a vivarium well. Top tip; place a thick natural stone like ‘slate’ under your heat source. This will then store the heat during the day and release back during the evening.
