Description
Add an additional level of intense filtration and sterilization of your pond water with the Oase Vitronic 18w clarifier.Over time debris and waste begin to form in the water which if left untreated can become a danger to the life inside the pond. This suspended algae, also known as Green Water is picked up by the pond filter pump and sent to a UVC. As the water passes through the UVC casing, the high power UV lamp works to destroy the cell walls of the algae and to clump them together (flocculate) into more manageable particles.What's left can then be sent to a Pond Filter unit so that it can be sieved out of the water before returning to the pond, resulting in cleaner and crystal clear water for a healthy environment.Each UVC has a high quality PLS/PLL bulb at its core and come supplied with stepped hosetails to fit hose with internal dimensions from 20mm to 38mm.Set-up is straight forward and for ease of use each Vitronics has a quick release button for simple access for bulb changing and cleaning of the quartz.Furthermore, the 18w model has been designed so that it can be attached directly to a compatible BioSmart Filter System, working in tandem for the best results.
