Description
Myths and legends have always played intrinsic roles in the Hermès perfumery, as do notions of modern femininity. The Amazone Eau de Toilette, first developed by Maurice Maurin in 1974, draws inspiration from the mythical horsewoman who is said to have reigned along the shores of the Black Sea. Spirited, powdery notes of black current buds intertwine with rose and milky sandalwood to create her olfactory portrait, while the bottle itself mimics a lantern hung from a horse-drawn carriage.
