The Hozelock Ecocel Pond Filter is a compact and efficient filtration system designed to keep your pond water clean and healthy. Easy to install in both new and existing pond setups, the unit can be discreetly buried up to the lid or positioned above ground as needed.Water enters through a top-mounted spray head, which aerates the water for increased oxygen levels before distributing it over the foam media below. Solid particles are effectively trapped in the foam sheet, while the almost solids-free water then flows through a biological filtration stage, where plastic bio media support beneficial bacteria to break down pollutants.The purified water is then returned to the pond via an outlet tube, ensuring a continuous cycle of clean, clear water.
