Blagdon pH Adjuster is designed to gradually adjust the pH levels of your pond, bringing it safely within the ideal range of 6.5 – 8.5, with the optimal level being between 7 and 8. Rapid changes in pH can be harmful, so this product is formulated with a unique buffer system that prevents pH levels from going outside of the safe range, even if too much product is used.How to Use:One level measure treats 285 litres (63 gallons) of water.Mix the desired dosage in a bucket of hot water, stir well, and wait for it to dissolve.Pour the liquid (whether hot or cold) over the surface of the pond.It’s normal for the water to temporarily turn milky—this is completely safe.Repeat the process as directed in the instructions over the following days.A pH imbalance can lead to stress or illness in fish, as well as hinder the growth of pond plants. Highly alkaline water can also lead to disease.
