These larvae cause significant damage by feeding on the developing fruit.By detecting the presence of male moths early, this trap enables gardeners to monitor infestations and, if necessary, take further steps such as applying a suitable insecticide.This trap is pesticide-free and safe for organic gardening, providing a natural way to track pest activity without harming beneficial insects.It can monitor up to three average-sized trees within a 12-metre range.The trap uses pheromones to attract male plum moths, preventing them from mating with females.If more than 12 moths per week are captured, this indicates a significant infestation that may require treatment.Hang the trap in early June, when male moths become active. Monitor from June to August, removing the trap in early September.
