It is recommended to hand wash the skillet with warm water a soft brush and mild detergent, as it is not dishwasher-safe. To maintain its seasoning and prevent rust, dry it thoroughly and apply a light coat of vegetable oil, heat the oven on 300 F and place the pan inside the oven. Remove the pan from the oven while still hot and place it on the stove to cool. Wipe away any excess oil and store when cool.
