To avoid risk of injury or damage to the torch please:
Fix vertically and firmly in the ground by steady pressure or by digging a hole and packing soil/sand around it.
Light carefully.
Do not touch burning wick.
Helpful information: when the torch's cylinder is filled with approx 180 ml / 6 oz of lamp oil (recommended), the burn time can last up to 6 hours while when filled with the same quantity of paraffin oil, the burn time will last between 2 to 3 hours. Make sure the wick is soaked in oil before lighting it.
Please note: when used in windy conditions, the burn time will decrease. Also, the length of the wick sticking out can impact the burning process.
