Gosset Brut Grand Rosé Champagne Champagne Gosset, based in Ay, is the oldest wine house in Champagne. Since 1993 the business has been in the ownership of the Cointreau family with the enigmatic Beatrice Cointreau at the helm. Gosset source most of their grapes from an established network of growers to ensure a consistent quality every year. A point of pride at Gosset is that they mature their wines for four years which is significantly longer than the 15 months that is legally required for non-vintage Champagnes.The Brut Grand Rose is a blend of 56% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir, plus 9% Pinot Noir wine from Bouzy and Ambonnay. The colour is a very delicate salmon pink with rich red fruits on the palate and superb freshness on account of the lively acidity. This is a wine of genuine finesse.Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
