Description

Innovative 6-wheel machine that makes its name in history] The Tyrrell P34 was announced on September 22, 1975 as the first 6-wheel vehicle in F1 history, and caused a sensation. The unique tire layout of the front four wheels and the rear two wheels is designed with the three goals of reducing air resistance, improving braking performance, and improving maneuverability. However, it has an extremely orthodox configuration except for the four front wheels, such as the suspension mounted on the frame with a triangular cross section and the highly reliable Ford V8 engine. By adopting a mechanism that has a proven track record and a well-understood nature, speedy and reliable development was possible. The actual battle type, which has undergone various improvements by testing after the announcement, debuted at the Spanish Grand Prix on May 2, 1976, driven by Patrick Depailler. On June 13, the same year, Jody Scheckter won the 7th round of the Swedish Grand Prix, and Depailler also came in second, proving that the idea of ??the front four wheels was sufficiently effective. In addition, in the Constructors' Championship of this year, he won the overall third place after Ferrari and McLaren. The Tyrell P34, which uses a four-wheel front system, is an innovative machine in the history of F1.[Model outline] - This is a plastic model assembly kit that models the Tyrrell P34, the only 6-wheeled machine that fought in the actual battle in the long history of F1, on a 1/12 scale. - Overall length 336 mm, overall width 166 mm, overall height 84 mm. It is a large precision model that is well-made and has plenty of looks. - The front and rear suspensions are movable by coil springs. - The four front wheels are linked to the steering wheel with a rack and pinion steering system similar to the actual vehicle. - A 3-liter V8 Ford DFV engine to which ignition cords and fuel pipes are wired and piped. - The air funnel is made of textured aluminum cutting. - The front, side, and cockpit cowlings are removable. - Etched parts such as brake discs, radiators, and nose cowl wing tip plates. - Equipped with etched parts for seat belt buckles and pedal surfaces. - The main slide marks are made by high quality cult graph. Set for cars 3 and 4. - The tires are made of realistic hollow rubber. [First release month] November 2007
