Since its introduction in 1979, the main battle tank Leopard 2, not infrequently referred to as the best in the world, has been constantly modernized and adapted. The latest version Leopard 2A6M has the longer gun (L55) and the improved mine protection. In addition to Germany, another 15 nations use the Leopard 2, including Canada in Afghanistan. The model offers the choice between the A6 and A6M (additional mine protection plate). The surface structures contain all the details, including the filigree anti-slip coating. As a special feature, the model has a two-piece chain that is bent.
