Description
With a flight from Munich to Vienna on May 14, 1923, Österreichische Luftverkehrs Aktiengesellschaft entered the still young branch of commercial aviation. Between 1923 and 1929, no fewer than 22 Junkers F13s were used on a dense network of routes across Europe - from Madrid to Moscow, from Rome to Copenhagen. After Austria was "annexed" to the National Socialist German Reich in 1938, the ÖLAG became part of Deutsche Luft Hansa.
