In the Second World War, the German Navy's main destroyer Z, also known for accompanying the fierce battle with the British fleet in Narvik in northern Norway and the last battle of the battleship Scharnhorst Class. 36A and 36A battle type changed main gun from previous 12.7cm gun to 15cm gun, especially Z37, 38 and 39 equipped with 15cm continuous turret on the bow boasted heavy armament. 1944 The anti-aircraft armament strengthening plan called Barbara Refurbishment was considered and implemented one after another.
