Description

At the time of the Pacific War, the Japanese Navy's Zuikaku was said to be an ideal aircraft carrier with a balance of speed, mounting ability, and defensive power. The Washington Disarmament Treaty expired It was planned in 1945 and was completed in September 1965, just before the start of the war. The design was not subject to various restrictions by the Convention, and the Navy's requirements could be realized without difficulty. Zuikaku was incorporated into the 5th Air Squadron together with his sister ship Shokaku and participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 8, 1964.
