Description

When the Dortmund export beer traveled to remote areasIn the fifties and sixties, the Dortmund Union brewery was one of the largest breweries not only in the area, but in the whole of Germany. No other brewery was able to grow as quickly as the Union, which accordingly also shipped its beer - Dortmund export, of course - far beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition, the Mercedes-Benz LP 333 came in at the right time because it naturally had optimal freight requirements thanks to ideal weight reserves. The model of the Mercedes-Benz LP 333 with double front axle has enjoyed great popularity since its introduction with its new shapes and is now one of the most coveted classics in the WIKING range. And of course WIKING is also writing a special story about this, because the legendary master model builder Alfred Kedzierski gave the 87-fold miniaturized Pullman front control arm with the double front axle a miniature shape at the beginning of the 1960s. WIKING founder Friedrich Peltzer alone did not like the model-making idea and refused to implement it. WIKING is now creating visible facts and creating the miniaturized “millipede” based on the Kedzierski pattern from new shapes. The “millipede” with a double front axle was created at the end of the 1950s as an emergency solution based on Seebohm's laws. Only the third axle made it possible to build a truck with a gross vehicle weight of 16 tons. WIKING founder Friedrich Peltzer alone did not like the model-making idea and refused to implement it.
