Additionally, the tilting mechanism allows you to angle the canopy to block out the setting sun. Just pull the lever to adjust the tilt and shield your eyes from low-lying sunlight.Made from durable 180g polyester, the canopy is built to last and has a UPF 30+ rating to protect you from harmful UV rays. An air vent at the top of the canopy helps reduce wind pressure to prevent uplift, while also promoting airflow to keep the area beneath the parasol cooler.The pole is crafted from lightweight, hardwearing aluminum, making it easier to move around your garden compared to heavier steel poles. Assembly is simple, with two pole sections that screw together. Instructions are included, along with tips on how to care for your parasol.Parasol Base Required:A base is needed to weigh down the parasol. If you plan to use it with a table, an 11kg base is ideal. For use without a table, a 25kg base is recommended.
