Tests show Yale Fire Safes can withstand intense heat up to 972°C, humidity and any form of attacks so they will protect your most precious things if there's a fire at your home or premises. These safes are built with the latest technology in fire insulation, which provides a high security rating and allows more room for your valuables inside your safe due to the thinner wall thickness. For added security, the safes’ locking bolts are on both hinge and frame side.Yale Fire Safes will automatically lock down after 5 incorrect codes have been entered or you can even set the touchscreen lockdown mode for up to 48 hours, for added security while you’re away. Lockdown can be set between 3 and 9 minutes after 5 incorrect PIN attempts. There is also the option to set a mastercode for emergencies or in the event of a forgotten PIN.And for your most important digital data, you can choose the Yale Data Fire Safe. This features ‘a safe within a safe’ – an extra insulation layer that offers additional protection for digital devices storing vital or sensitive information.The safes also feature an automatic door opening mechanism, touchscreen keypad entry, silent input whereby you can turnoff PIN code entry and safe opening sounds and low battery indicator. If the batteries run out, you can use the external 9V battery option to gain emergency access (battery not included).
