Deinotherium could be found in the woodlands of Africa and Eurasia in the Middle Miocene-Modern era (10 million to 10,000 years ago).
Deinotherium were aroind 16 feet long and weighed between 4 and 5 tons. They had downward curved tusks on their lower jaw - much like a prehistoric elephant.
