Description

Red WineThis Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Vineyards near the Tinguiririca River in the Colchagua Valley, whose influence creates exceptional winegrowing conditions. A deep, dark purple colour with cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry aromas and hints of black pepper. On the palate it is firm, with deep, concentrated flavours.Two forces, one legacy.

Regional Information

Made with grapes grown at the Palo Santo Vineyard, D.O. Marchigüe, Colchagua Valley, on the banks of the Tinguiririca River. The Palo Santo Vineyard is located at 180 metres above sea level and extends along the slopes and terraces close to the southern banks of the Tinguiririca River.

Vinification Details

The selected clusters are destemmed, then gravity-fed into the fermentation vats. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and lasts 9 days. The wine undergoes a spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Then it is aged in French oak barrels and foudres. Finally, it is naturally stabilized, without treatments, whilst it is ageing in the barrels. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and foudres (20% new, 80% second use).
