Regional Information

Located in South Australia, the Barossa Valley is one of Australia's premier, historic wine regions, globally renowned for its bold, full-bodied Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache. Founded by 19th-century European immigrants, it boasts over 150 wineries, including some of the world's oldest producing vines, thriving in a warm, Mediterranean climate.

Vinification Details

Grapes were picked mid‑morning, crushed into stainless steel fermenters, and inoculated for a 7-10 day ferment. After pressing, batches underwent malolactic fermentation in barrels and tanks. Winemakers assessed them mid‑year and selected parcels for Barossan Shiraz. The blend then matured 15 months in French and American oak before final blending, fining, filtration, and bottling.
