Preparation and Usage

Allow the steaks to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking. Place seasoning portions to one side.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: PAN FRY 3-5 mins Lightly brush each side of the steaks with olive oil. Heat a heavy based frying pan over a high heat until hot. Fry over a high heat for 1 minute 30 seconds on each side. For a rare steak remove from the pan. Continue to cook for a further 1 minute (medium) or 2 minutes (well done), turning once. Remove the steaks from the pan and allow to rest in a warm place for 2 minutes. While the steaks are resting, add the seasoning portions to the pan. Heat until melted then pour with the cooking juices over the steaks and serve immediately.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.
