Description

Antigal Uno Chardonnay 75cl The grapes are harvested manually at their optimum maturity from our vineyards at the foothills of the Andes, and the best clusters are selected. A part of the wine is aged for six months in French oak. A lovely chartreuse yellow with golden highlights. Classic peach, pineapple and vanilla aromas with notes of pastries, tantalize the palate. Fresh, elegant and bold with a lingering finish. The grapes are hand-harvested in 18 kg boxes during the early hours of the day. Once received at the winery, they are placed in cold chambers for 24 hours. Two-thirds of the grapes are gently pressed, while the remaining portion undergoes maceration for 12 hours prior to pressing. Ninety percent of the obtained must ferments in stainless steel tanks, and the remaining 10% in used French oak barrels. Fermentation temperature is maintained between 14-16 °C and lasts for 21 days. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out in order to preserve the wine's freshness and varietal typicity. After this process, the wine is kept in contact with its lees to gain greater volume and smoothness on the palate.Training method: VSPAverage yield: 120 qq/HaVegan certification.Color: Pale yellow with subtle golden strikes. Regional Information

The UNO line is Antigal's most versatile range, with a fresh and fruit-forward profile. Sourced from vineyards in Mendoza, including Primera Zona and the Uco Valley, Primera Zona at 800 meters offers approachability, balance, and expressive fruit character. The Uco Valley, 900-1,400 meters at the Andes foothills, adds cooler temperatures, vibrant acidity, and aromatic intensity. This diversity of altitudes and terroirs gives the UNO line its distinctive personality.
