Description

Slow cooked beef wing rib with sachets of bone marrow and red wine gravy, savoury beef stock, kelp and shiitake mushroom glaze and crispy onion crumb.This product is part of the Tesco Festive Food to Order range. Finished with a beef dashi glaze for an aromatic flavour. Served with a crispy onion crumb and a beef and bone marrow gravy.

When cooked according to instructions.--

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Oven

Instructions: 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas 7 50 mins 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6 20 mins 1. For the best result, rest at room temperature for 60 minutes before cooking. 2. Remove product from carton and place the sachets to one side. 3. Decant the meat and juices from the pouch into the foil tray provided. Discard bone guard and peach pad and place fat side up. Transfer foil tray onto a baking tray, place in the centre of a pre-heated oven and cook for 50 minutes. 4. Remove beef from the oven, reduce temperature to 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6. Pour half of the beef dashi glaze over the joint. For the best result, use brush to coat the joint evenly. Return to oven and cook for further 10 minutes. 5. Remove beef from the oven, pour the remaining contents of glaze sachet over the joint and return to oven for final 10 minutes. 6. Remove from the oven and leave to stand for 10 – 20 minutes before serving. 7. While the beef is resting, heat the unopened beef and bone marrow gravy sachet in a saucepan of simmering water for 10 minutes. Remove, and allow to stand for 2 minutes. 8. To plate, carve the beef joint into two equal pieces, remembering to remove the strings. Cut off the bone, slice thinly from the fat side down. Garnish with crispy fried onions and serve with warm beef and bone marrow gravy poured over the meat or on the side. Do not reheat.
