INGREDIENTS: Icing Sugar, Sugar, Wheat Flour [Wheat Flour, Calcium, Folic Acid, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin], Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder (10%), Sugar Paste Decorations [Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Palm Oil, Water, Emulsifiers (Acacia Gum, Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids, Lecithins), Humectant (Glycerol), Stabiliser (Xanthan Gum), Colours (Riboflavin, Beetroot Red, Iron Oxides and Hydroxides), Maize Starch, Caramelised Sugar], Rapeseed Oil, Dextrose, Raising Agents (Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate, Monopotassium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Monocalcium Phosphate), Emulsifier (Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids).

Cooking time: 14–16 minutes
Method: Oven
Makes: 6 cupcakes
You will need: 1 medium egg; 4 tbsp (60ml) cold water; 90g softened unsalted butter; cupcake or muffin tray.
To make the cupcakes:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4.
2. Place the bun cases into a cupcake tray.
3. Empty the cake mix sachet into a large bowl and add 1 medium egg and 4 tbsp (60ml) cold water and mix with an electric whisk for 1–2 minutes until combined.
4. Divide the mixture between the cupcake cases and bake in the centre of the oven for 14–16 minutes until risen.
5. Cool in the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
To make the frosting:
6. Empty the chocolate frosting mix sachet (and keep the sachet for later use) into a bowl, add 90g softened unsalted butter and mix well until light and fluffy.
7. Place the frosting back into the sachet and carefully snip the corner of the sachet to create a piping bag.
To decorate:
8. Once cooled top the cupcakes with the frosting and use the sugar plaques to create reindeer cupcakes.
