Catena Agrelo Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to <>The 2023 Catena Cabernet Sauvignon Appellation Agrelo presents purple color with ruby red reflections. The nose shows intense aromas of ripe red fruit flavors interwoven with spices notes like black pepper, thyme, curry, with layers of cedar. The mouthfeel is rich with layers of cassis flavors and notes of black pepper, clove, leather and tobacco. The finish is bright and fresh with finely grained tannins.This wine goes through cold maceration for around 3-7 days at 50oF (10oC). The juice is then fermented for approximately 12-19 days with a total maceration of around 2-10 days. 11-13 months in 100% French oak barrel (25-40% new. 2nd and 3rd use barrels).
