Regional Information

The grapes come from selected vineyards that grow close to the Pacific Ocean's coast in Chile's Aconcagua Region between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean. These vineyards are located on rolling hills at an altitude of 100 to 300 metres above sea level and produce perfect Sauvignon Blanc grapes to make this zingy white wine.

Vinification Details

Light fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Different lots of the wine stayed in touch with their lees for three months to intensify its distinctive fruit character and develop a nice texture. Once the final blend was finished, it was stabilized and softly filtered prior to bottling.

History

Don Maximiano Errázuriz founded Viña Errázuriz in 1870 when he planted the first French grape varieties in Chile's Aconcagua Valley. His initiative, creativity and belief that the best wines come from the best land has been passed down through subsequent generations and today Viña Errázuriz remains family owned by the Chadwick family. Working hand in hand with nature, the family and winemaking teams are constantly striving to produce great Chilean wines, produced in a sustainable, responsible way.
