Cooking Instructions

Instructions: Remove all packaging. Allow steaks to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before cooking.For best results pan fry.CautionThis product contains raw meat. Always wash hands, surfaces and utensils after contact with raw meat.ImportantTesco recommends that meat products are cooled thoroughly. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Not sultable for cooking from frozen.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: 4-10 minsLightly brush each side of the steaks with a little oil. Heat a heavy based pan over a high heat until smoking. Add steaks to the dry pan over a high heat for 1 minute on each side. Reduce to a medium heat and continue to cook for a further 2-4 minutes (rare). 4-6 minutes (medium) or 6-8 minutes (well done), turning halfway through cooking time. Remove steaks from the pan and allow to rest in a warm place for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Grill

Instructions: 8-14 minsPlace steak on a tray in a pre-heated medium/high grill for 8-10 minutes (rare), 10-12 minutes (medium). 12-14 minutes (well done), turning halfway through cooking time. Remove steaks from the grill and allow to rest in a warm place for 3-5 minutes before serving.
